Since 1979, Way Out West, a Los Angeles apparel manufacturing company, has specialized in contract sewing and domestic Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) manufacturing in the United States. Our three facilities of apparel manufacturing are located adjacent to one another in Gardena, CA - five minutes east of Los Angeles International Airport and 15 minutes north from the port of Los Angeles. This location of our sewing factory in Los Angeles, CA allows immediate access to our facilities, providing clients with the ability to work with us directly on sample refinement, first round production runs, and final product creation.

Out of all the private label clothing manufacturers in Los Angeles, CA, our staff has years of experience providing quality sewing services. 70% of our employees have been with the company for over 10 years. As a sewing company of Los Angeles, The Way Out West, Inc. team has experience with many types of sewing processes and projects. Our clients include Fortune 500 companies, start-ups looking to outsource for the first time, and the US government. Many of these clients have been with us for years - a testament to our quality, reliability and efficiency.

Being a pioneer amongst California clothing manufacturers, our expertise includes sample refinement, heat-sealing and taped seams, die-cutting, RF bonding and contract sewing. Since 1979, we have been licensed to source DuPont™ materials such as Lycra®, Tychem® and Tyvek®, and are available to research other types of fabrics and materials - making us an important resource to your company. And mind well, very few garment manufacturers in Los Angeles have this license. All projects are set up and managed by a team with over 30 years of experience and undergo a rigorous quality control process before being packaged and shipped from our clothing factory at Los Angeles. We have the most modern machinery and all the necessary equipment in our garment factory located in Los Angeles.

Way Out West, being a Los Angeles (LA) clothing company, is a long standing member of the Garment Contractors Association of Southern California. Way Out West is also a proud member of the National Safety Council which seeks to reduce accidents and injuries in workplace environments through information, education and training.
